Oio Lab is a Polish botanical skincare brand with its own laboratory, where a team of chemists and specialists develops every formula — from ingredient analysis to the finished product. We combine advanced botanical ingredients with modern skin science and confirm efficacy through studies.

Having our own laboratory gives us control over every stage of the process — from selecting raw materials and determining their concentrations, through successive formula iterations and studies, to production. This means every formula is developed to our own standard: from concept to measurable changes in the skin.

We verify formula efficacy through instrumental studies and consumer in-use testing. Consumer in-use testing captures participants’ experiences and observations, while instrumental studies use specialised equipment to precisely measure changes in the skin — including hydration levels, density, elasticity and smoothness, as well as the appearance of wrinkles.

We do not build formulas around individual ingredients or passing trends. We draw on modern skin science — including research into the skin microbiome, epigenetics, hormonal changes and skin cell longevity. We translate this knowledge into ingredient systems, effective concentrations and advanced formulation methods, then confirm the efficacy of the finished formulas through studies.
